I am an amateur hunter. I will probably consider myself an amateur for quite some time to come. It’s something I began late in life in spite of spending my childhood and a large portion of my adult career outside. Therefore…

Second Season is my place to wander and wonder—often at the same time. It’s where I’ll track curiosity more than game, fish for meaning as often as trout, and get happily lost exploring a deeper connection to nature. I don’t promise wisdom, expertise, or even directions home—but I’ll gladly share the trail if anyone feels like following along.

Because it’s never too late to wander into a second season.

Mostly, it’s my second chance to be intentionally amateur, comfortably uncertain, and fully present in this curious world.
